How Do I Make a Bequest?

It’s simple and easy. Download the Emmanuel College Bequest Intention Form and email it to development@emmanuel.edu. If you would like to provide additional documentation from your estate planner or attorney, please submit with your form.

What Are My Options?

A bequest can be made in several ways:

You can gift a specific dollar amount or asset
You can gift a percentage of your estate
You can gift from the balance or residue of your estate
You can make a beneficiary designation of certain assets or accounts

What can my gift support?

Your gift can endow a scholarship/fund/fellowship/faculty position
Your gift can support a specific department, program, extracurricular activity or school

Other Ways to Give

IRA Rollover

Congress has enacted a permanent IRA charitable rollover. As a result, those 70 ½ and older can make an IRA rollover gift this year and in future years. You not only make a gift to the College, but also can benefit from tax savings.

Charitable Gift Annuity

You transfer your cash or appreciated property to Emmanuel College in exchange for our promise to pay you fixed payments (with rates based on your age) for the rest of your life.

Life Estate Reserved

You give your property to Emmanuel College but retain the right to use the property during your life.
