Student Life

At the core of an Emmanuel education is a commitment to the growth of the whole student: Mind, body and spirit. When you make a gift to the Emmanuel Fund in support of Student Life, you support everything from athletics to mission and ministry and everything in between. These are the student experiences that make attending Emmanuel College exceptional and distinct and help make the memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

In addition to more than 90 clubs, organizations and activities, Emmanuel offers 16 Division III athletics teams for both men and women, with state-of-the-art facilities and an extraordinary student-athlete experience. While engaging in competition all over New England, Saints learn the value of discipline, teamwork and leadership, and the entire Emmanuel community benefits from the blue and gold spirit the teams bring to campus.

Our students are challenged by the College's mission and focus on social justice to become contributing members of the local community and the global society. Through opportunities like annual student service days, service-learning courses and Alternative Spring Break, more than 80% of our students volunteer countless hours each year to helping others throughout Boston, across the country and around the world.

A gift to student life also supports our residence halls, the commuter lounge and living-learning communities like the one committed to social justice at the new Notre Dame campus, as well as vital student services like the Counseling Center.
