Join alumna author Elizabeth Devlin (McIntyre) '72 for an online discussion of her novel Home Waters—the July/August Emmanuel College Alumni Book Club selection—and her journey to becoming a published author.
Home Waters is the first in the Narragansett Bay series set off the coast of Rhode Island. It’s the story of world-renowned oceanographer Becket Fallon and non-profit expert Lainey Carmichael. Linked by 3-year-old twin girls, Becket and Lainey fight invasive toxic algae and their own demons in an unusual mix of family, romance and environmental suspense. The novel is a finalist for two National Excellence in Romance Fiction Awards: Best First Book and Best Mainstream Romance.
Home Waters is available on Amazon and at a number of local book stores throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. 25% of royalties go to Save the Bay. To learn more about Elizabeth and Home Waters, visit elizabethdevlin.com.
